Beauty routine

Da, stiu, iar poze in trandafiri… pardon, langa trandafiri. Tipic mie.

In curand ii voi dedica o intreaga postare in care va voi povesti despre multiplele sale beneficii.

Exfolierea :

EN:

I know, pictures with roses again… sorry, next to roses. Typical for me. I can’t resist them, it’s true. But this is not what I wanted to talk to you about. Often, many of you ask me what beauty products I use, what treatments I use, where do I dye my hair, etc.

Speaking of hair, a few years ago, before I had this blog, I was a bit flustered when a couple of blonde girls approached me in the tram station and asked me directly: “Sorry to bother you, do you mind telling us what hair dye you use?”. I smiled and firmly answered: “Garnier no. 9”.

But those times are long gone, even if that hair dye was my faithful friend for years. Of course, in the meantime I dyed my hair #ombre and encountered a new ordeal, but I can consider myself lucky because I’ve found the perfect place, where my hair is treated royally, the hair salon where I enter as a zombie and go out as a human. :)))))

Anastasia Beauty Center, may God bless you with health and a long life!

But let’s get back to the daily beauty routine. Meaning the #skincare routine.

For starters, I will tell you that the “cleansing – toning – moisturizing” algorithm was not invented for nothing, and I religiously respect it, no matter how tired I am, especially in the evening. Same goes for the skin on the rest of my body, which works on the “exfoliate and moisturize” system. Ok, it’s simple thus far. Let’s see what the steps are and what products I use:

Cleansing:

Both in the morning and in the evening I thoroughly clean my face with a cosmetic pad soaked in micellar water from Bioderma. I remove my eye make-up then I rinse my face with the gel from Nuxe. Usually I still need another cosmetic pad with micellar water to remove all impurities, and only after that I use a serum. In the morning I choose the Lift Up line from Cosmetic Plant (serum / day cream). It is very important for the day cream to have at least SPF 15, regardless of the season. If I happen to have a late morning when my skin looks devitalized, I use a vial with immediate lifting effect from Asepta Coup D’Eclat. Then, after 5-10 minutes I start the actual make-up process.

Moisturizing:

In the evening, cleansing takes a bit more, but I don’t rush it and I try to follow all steps. After the last cosmetic pad with micellar water, which replaces toner, I am applying the night serum from Estee Lauder, then a highly moisturizing cream – I usually have several creams and I alternate them, but my favorite is the rejuvenating cream with honey and royal jelly from Apidava. For the eye area I don’t use anything special, but sometimes I use a bit of coconut oil during the cold season. Speaking of coconut oil, you can’t even imagine how miraculous it is! Soon I will dedicate an entire post to it, where I will tell you about its multiple benefits.

Exfoliating:

Of course, when no cosmetic product works for you and creams are not absorbed uniformly it is clear that you need exfoliation. Before I discovered Philips Visa Care I used light exfoliators, based on honey, clay or apricot pits, like the one from Apidava. But more recently I became addicted to the microdermabrasion device from Philips, which does wonders to my skin! You can read more details about my experience with Philips Visa Care here.

For my body, once a month I use a gritty exfoliator, based on brown sugar or sea salt, sometimes I even prepare it myself by combining equal parts of coconut/olive oil, honey, treacle, sea salt and a dash of orange essential oil, for the scent. After that, I use a moisturizing lotion on my entire body. I have several, but I am crazy about the fragrance and texture of the one from Elmiplant, and other times I choose the one from Nuxe.

Tip: Creams and lotions applied on a semi-wet skin are easier to apply and nourish the skin better.

Guilty pleasure: I know you also can’t resist the temptation of popping a pimple or a black head from time to time, so I have a solution for this problem as well. 🙂 If I have an angry pimple I apply a drop of tea tree oil from Thursday Plantation. It is very concentrated, a natural antiseptic and disinfectant.

Hair:

We finally reached the hair chapter. As I was telling you before, the girls from Anastasia Beauty Center are taking care of my hair (and more). They’ve earned my trust and I take all their advices into account. 🙂 I can’t give you more details about coloring, but I can confirm that after each coloring session my hair is so hydrated and neat that I would dye it daily!

Returning to the products I use, I am currently testing the Irisome line from Kerastasse (shampoo and conditioner), of which I am quite satisfied. After I wash my hair, I can’t deprive myself from my favorite oil from Moroccanoil, which smells divine and is a delight for my hair. I decided to try a sea water spray during the summer, for a more textured look and some beach curls. I chose Ocean Spritz from Wella and I promise to keep you updated regarding the results.

I am stopping here for now, but I promise to return with more beauty articles!
