FotoFinder, aliatul nr 1 in depistarea anomaliilor pielii

Acest sistem complex investigheaza in detaliu tegumentul si determina evolutia in timp a alunitelor.

• Ati observat schimbari in aspectul nevilor pigmentari
• Ati observat aparitia unor noi nevi pigmentari
• V-ati confruntat cu arsuri solare in copilarie sau adolescenta
• Aveti o piele foarte deschisa la culoare (fototip I)

PS: Dupa cum stiti, in orice afectiune, cea mai importanta este preventia.

EN:

If you’re following me on social media, you probably saw that two weeks ago I went for a dermatoscopic check-up at Elos Clinic. Despite the fact that I do not have a lot of moles and I’m always careful to protect myself when it comes to sun exposure, I was always cautious about this, in the idea that I have a very sensitive type of skin, I have difficulties in getting tanned and I burn easily. When I found out about FotoFinder, I immediately wanted to go for a check-up, considering the post-vacation period, after a lot of exposure to radiation of all kinds.

But what is FotoFinder?

FotoFinder ATBM (Automatic Total Body Mapping) is the standard of excellence in digital dermatoscopy, proved to be an extremely effective tool for detecting skin cancer and other skin abnormalities. This complex system investigates the skin in detail and determines the evolution of moles in time.

How does it work?

FotoFinder is a complex system composed of high-performance equipment. The professional camera takes pictures of the affected area and automatically stores the photos in the computer for them to be analyzed by the dermatologist. The integrated medicam is equipped with special lenses that increase skin lesions up to 70 times, analyzing them in depth to determine if they represent a risk of illness or not.

As I was saying, I do not have a lot of moles, and the most obvious one is this one on the abdomen. I didn’t need a full scan, but together with Dr. Felis Dermigean we analyzed this mole and other small depigmentations or seemingly suspicious spots. Fortunately, all my worries went away, my moles did not show malignity or other anomalies! But in the image above you can see how a malignant mole looks. Everything in red is cancer!

Who should be examined with FotoFinder? If you’re in one of the following situations, please schedule a visit to your dermatologist:

  • You have a lot of moles on your body (more than 50)

  • You have a family history of skin cancer

  • You already have melanoma

  • You have big moles

  • You noticed changes in the aspect of moles

  • You noticed new moles

  • You’ve had sunburns in your childhood or adolescence

  • You have a very light skin (type I)

PS: As you know, in every disease, the most important aspect is prevention. Also, we all know how much we like the sun and being tanned. Now I’m personally a lot calmer after being examined. But that does not mean that I will exaggerate with the sun in the future!
